My Harry Potter Story.

I was in 1st grade—2003—when I first read Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. Haha it took me like 4 months to read. I didn’t understand a lot of it; I pretty much just knew Voldemort wanted to kill Harry and stuff, and I vaguely understood the plot. And my aunt asked me questions about the book to see if I remembered anything. She asked like, “Who was Harry’s roommate?” and “What is He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named’s real name?” Things like that.

Then I re-read the book in 2nd grade, and I understood it more. Enough to move on to the second book. And then the third. And fourth. And fifth. I remember waiting for the sixth book to be released. By 4th grade—2006—I was waiting for the 7th book to come out, and my mom pre-ordered it like 2 months before it came out, just for me(:

I remember waiting and waiting and WAITING for the book to come on that day. (Um, July 21, 2007.) It came around noon and I read for 3 hours straight, and I was done with the book.

And the movies? I think I watched the first one after I read it the first time. And then I watched the second and third one; (they were already out). I had to wait for the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and (technically) eighth movies to come out. My dad took me to see the fourth&fifth, my mom the sixth, and I went with friends for seventh&eighth :)

So yeah. That was my Harry Potter story :))
